The fruit for the basket-pressed Barossa Shiraz is sourced from the Barossa Valley floor (Kalimna area). This is the first of Karra Yerta's red wines produced with the assistance and exceptional blending skills of Pete Schell (Spinifex).

edit Tasting

Deep black cherry red in colour with a perfumed nose of dark berries and chocolate. Nice rounded tannins and good length on the palate.

edit Serving

This is a fine example of a Barossa Shiraz and although drinking quite nicely now, will certainly benefit from cellaring. Serve with Steak, Lamb. Karra Yerta Wines recommends decantation of all of their wines. Serve this wine at about 12 -15 degrees celcius for maximum enjoyment.
