This wine is a nice introduction to Amarone at an affordable price. It has the classic rich, layered flavours of an Amarone and works well with spicy, stewy foods.

The wine is intense and flavourful, with notes from many dark, dried fruits, like raisins and figs, as well as red berries and dark cherries. The tannins are strong and textured to give a long finish.
